BERTHING REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS
BC HIGH SCHOOL BOYS' BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION

This year again;
1A, 2A, 3A and 4A teams must add their roster to the BC Boys' Basketball Association website,
in order to be counted as a competing team.

ROSTERS & SCHEDULES are to be submitted by --- DECEMBER 11, 2024

TEAM PICTURES are to be submitted by --- DECEMBER 13, 2024

Although the governance of the BC High School Boys' Basketball Association is under the umbrella of BC School Sports, we continue to request all teams to submit schedules, rosters and team pictures to the Association's website.
The goal of the Association is to promote the senior boys' high school game by providing an online site to report all scores and stats.
Before that can happen, we need to input playing schedules and have rosters and team pictures displayed.

 

1. Go to www.bcboysbasketball.com
2. In the upper right hand corner, click on “Login.” If you don’t have a user name and password, send an email to bcboysbball@gmail.com requesting them. We will send them to you. You choose what you want and if it isn’t taken it is yours.
3. After logging in, click on "Team" in the menu, you should see your zone and school name displayed.

TEAM ROSTERS

1. Along the school name line click on “The Menu Symbol” (3 horizontal lines) below "Actions"
2. Click on Team Roster.
3. Click on Add a player.
4. Type in each player's first name, last name, jersey number, position, height, weight and current grade (scroll down).  Only fields marked with a red asterisk are mandatory.
5. Once you have the players info entered, click on “Save Player” at the bottom.
6. Repeat steps 3, 4 and 5 until all players have been added to your team roster.
7. Players Own Contact Info is optional and is not shown on the public side as are the Primary and Secondary contacts. (Mother, Father)
8. To save erasing a whole season of stats by accident, you must contact bcboysbball@gmail.com  to delete a player from your team.

Rosters need to include the following:
# of the player
player's first and last name
position (G, F, S) [stands for guard, forward or swing - you should NOT use a C as a centre is a forward]
height
weight
year

TEAM PICTURES

NOTE - In your team picture, a PLAYER'S FACE & NUMBER SHOULD BE CLEARLY VISIBLE.
Arms by their side, on their knees or behind them.
Arms should NEVER be across in front of the number on the jersey.
Make sure that a player's head is not in front of another player's number.
To make things easier this season, e-mail your team picture to

and it will be entered for you.

If you wish to do it yourself please use the following instructions.

1.  Take a team picture or have it taken and save it as a JPG or JPEG on your computer.  Remember the file folder and file name that you save it as.
2.  To add your team picture click on “the menu symbol” (3 horizontal lines) to the right of school name. 
3.  Click on “Edit Team” in the drop down box.
4.  Scroll down to “Team Photo”.
5.  Click “Browse”, and find the file name for your saved team picture.
6.  Select the proper file.
7.  Click on “Save Changes” and your team photo should upload to the website.

E-mail your team composite schedule (league, exhibition and tournament games) to:
