2023 BCHSBBA All Star Game Reports

On Saturday April 20th STMC hosted the All-Star Saturday events and it was a great day of hoops. The day got started with the 1a vs 2a match and for the first time ever 1A defeated 2A 96-95 in what was an amazing back and forth game. Player of the game for 1A was Viv Francois from St. John's who led the way with 30 points, the highest total for anyone in both games. Loay Almahamid from Gidgalang Kuuyas Naay had 18 points and Ryder Vanderkooi of Unity Christian chipped in 14 points.

The 3a / 4A matchup was a good one on paper and close at half with 4A leading 43-33. However the 4A group showed their dominance and were too much for 3A as they took the game 115-79.  4A Player of the game was Tamanawis own Sartaj Bhangu with 19 points, Arjun Hehar also from Tamanawis had 16, Thomas Beames from Oak Bay and Nylan Roberts from Yale both had 15.
